What was that about best intentions? It’s not over until it’s over or in my case, when the cat lady sings. So Boomer Muse launched a few weeks ago not that you’d know since my subscriber list is waiting to be manually cut and pasted one by one. Ditto our archive of six long years of work. Yup, the migration to WordPress did not work. Godaddy tried to help but failed and I can either accept fate or pull my hair out.
It’s only when really shitty things happen do you know what you’re made of. I found out I’m not a quitter, and so I’m back to tweaking the website and posting. There is a selfish but altruistic reason. I miss my readers and I happened to take a massive amount of fabadoo photos ALL summer.
There is too much good stuff not to share and even if it makes one person’s day, that’s one more than if I didn’t do it. Make sense?
It’s not over until the cat lady sings and I’m not mewing. I won’t lie. It was a stressful summer with no day off. Zero. But they say if you love your work, you’ll never work a day in your life.
Okay, so how do I do it? I feed my soul every single day with beauty and what I love. One of the places near me with surreal beauty is the Persian Gardens in Yonkers of all places. It’s the best kept secret, so don’t tell anyone.
