Making Magic on International Women’s Day

March 8 is International Women’s Day and there has never been an more important time to celebrate and support women. Wear red in solidarity even if it’s red lipstick. Red is the most powerful color there is. It’s primeval and the color of energy, passion and action.

Some woman are choosing not to work today or shop. After all she who controls the purse strings, rules everything. Some women will demonstrate, march or take other action.

A Day Without A Woman 2017 is a general strike.

It doesn’t matter what you choose, but take action. The official site for action plans is International Womens’ Day The hashtag is #beboldforchange

As a creative, I choose to create a poster. We all have a unique gift to share to help empower other women. It’s time to make magic! The moon is waxing in power towards the full moon. The Crow Moon is the last full moon before the arrival of Spring, when the snow and ground begin to thaw. It heralds the end of winter and it’s a powerful time to make your intentions, wishes known in order to manifest something NEW in spring.
