Photo Quotes Galore or Just One Rare Jewel?

If you follow me on Twitter, Facebook or Pinterest, you may have noticed a flurry of new photo quotes from me. I’ve been on a creative roll and auto-post up to three a day.  So, if you don’t already follow me, please do.  For right here, right now, there’s only one. Have you noticed if there is less of something you want it more? We value rarity, exclusivity, one-of a-kind things and experiences. Does your heart flutter when you hear, “Sorry, there is only one left?”

Do you prefer lots or less? Last week when I posted about lavish display of tulips, it seemed impressive eye candy at first but now? The petals have fallen leaving knobby stems. Tulip season is over but wait, something red caught my eye in my own garden. The lone survivor. My tulips were dug up by squirrels. All of them, gradually over the years and I never replaced them. They’re clever creatures but one buried and forgot a solitary bulb smack in the middle of bed of lily of the valley. One red tulip as precious as a ruby. I’ll take one tulip in the hand than a field of tulips long gone. How about you?
