On the weekend I went in search of signs of life or spring. On this day, for the past few years, cherry blossoms already emerged pink and cheery. Not this year. It’s as if Mother Nature did not get the memo. What I did find inspired our quote today. Snowdrops are always the first to bloom and then crocuses, daffodils and tulips. It’s no big deal to poke through sun-warmed earth but imagine the effort to push through ice and snow. These tender guys would rather crawl under the covers until June but they don’t. They’re driven to do what they have to do. Think you have it hard? Think of these daffodils. What will drive you this week?
