August first marks the mid point between summer and autumn. Without fail, the day or so after my end of July birthday I feel a huge shift. Leo Season and summer feels like it’s hurtling at breakneck speed towards fall.
Every astrologer has expounded on the importance of this full moon, the first of two this month so I won’t. Instead I’ll share a couple of poems. Full moon love letters if you will.
Leo Season Full Moon in Aquarius
by Layla Morgan Wilde
Beneath Aquarius’ radiant full moon,
In Leo’s warm embrace, we swoon,
Lammas’ harvest whispers from the heart,
A cosmic dance, where spirits start.
The sky aglow with mystical light,
Infinite dreams take flight,
In union with the stars’ grand design,
Soul and cosmos intertwined.
Celestial grace, a dance divine,
In harmony, our souls align,
On this eve, let love’s fire blaze,
Embrace the magic, life’s mystic maze.
Beneath August’s full moon’s sacred light,
In Leo’s warm embrace, hearts take flight,
Aquarius’ grace, a cosmic tune,
Lughnasadh joy shines, a boon,
In mystic dance, souls unite and ignite.
Summer Super Full Moon Blessings
by Layla Morgan Wilde
Beneath August’s full moon’s sacred light,
Leo’s season wanes, bidding sad goodnight,
In its parting, lessons both joy and pain,
Releasing what no longer serves, we gain.
Aquarius’ grace, a cosmic tune,
Whispers softly, surrender and attune,
Lughnasadh joy, a sacred boon,
In mystic dance, souls unite, cocoon.
With every breath, a new space to grow,
In letting go, our spirits flow,
Embrace the dance of stars above,
Release, surrender, and find love.
And some Leonine art from this triple Leo.
