Radiance isn’t the sun itself, it’s what happens when light passes through something first. That’s what the video shows: late afternoon light coming through the trees, already softened, already secondhand by the time it reaches the garden.
And then my hand turning the disk over, angel side down, until one word is left facing up. Radiance. Not chosen, just revealed, the same way the light wasn’t made, only let through.
Which is why radiance follows, it doesn’t lead. Clarity strips things back. Inspire lights the spark. Radiance is what’s left over once those two have already done their work, the same way late day light is what’s left after a whole day of heat has built up in the ground.
You’re not manufacturing brightness on demand. You’re turning something over and finding out what’s already there.
That’s also why it can’t be performed. Dappled light through trees is imperfect, always moving. A hand turning a wooden disk is unhurried, almost incidental.
Real radiance has that same involuntary, leaking quality. You can’t pose your way into it, you can only have been somewhere long enough, softened enough, for it to come through.
And etymologically, radiance always points back to a center, a radius by definition comes from somewhere. So radiance isn’t something you shine, it’s evidence you’ve been warmed from a source, and the turning of the oracle is just the moment it becomes visible.
May your inner radiance shine bright today🌞

Layla
