Today’s angel reading for you, pulled from the garden in the mid-afternoon light, says one word: Creativity.

It’s a loaded word. Somewhere along the way, many of us decided creative means talented, artistic, the person who can paint or play. Everyone else just watches. Sometimes wishing they could do that to that too. And you can.

But creating is simply making something that wasn’t there before. A meal from whatever’s in the fridge. A garden bed. A poem, a photograph, a birthday card made with your own hands.

It doesn’t even have to be original. You can tweak something make something ordinary, extraordinary.

And these days, everyone is a creator. We even say “content creator” on social media without blinking.

Even taking the original photo still from the video and cropping it was creative and then I decided to turn it purple for this longer version. Creative?Maybe, but who cares. It doesn’t really matter.

 

Every time you shoot a video or frame a photo, you’re doing exactly what artists have always done: noticing something and making it visible.

 

So here’s the angel’s nudge for today: make one small thing with your hands, and don’t ask anyone to grade it.

If it brings you joy, chances are it will bring someone else joy as well.
