Sometimes, I create something and don’t share it right away. Then, months or even years later, it suddenly feels like the right time.

This short video was filmed in my garden on a sunny September afternoon. I was working with a set of small clay angel blessings messages.  They look a little like round runes, and each one carries a single-word message. I have not seen them for sale anywhere and they’re probably from the 90s if not earlier.

The first message in this series is Inspire.

The word inspire comes from the Latin inspirare, meaning “to breathe into” or “to breathe upon.” That connection feels especially meaningful: inspiration can be a spark of an idea, a sense of encouragement, or simply the breath that brings something to life.

In the video, I reflect on what it means to be inspired and how that message might speak to this seasonal moment, the transition from summer into fall, from spaciousness into more focused and purposeful activity.

Virgo season invites us to begin new projects, return to our studies, establish healthy habits, and bring our ideas into practical form.

I hope this message inspires you to watch the rest of the series, which will include more angel messages as well as tarot readings. Sometimes older but evergreen work breathes new life at exactly the right time.

And speaking of breathing, when was the last time you noticed how deeply or how shallow your breath is. Take a moment if you can, to breathe and notice. And then notice what else is happening in your body. Is your jaw clenched or your shoulders tense? Breathe into any tension and gently let go.
