Nature’s Anger Management by Rumi

Welcome old and new subscribers.  It’s been a long and wild ride back into the blogging saddle.  There are a handful of new posts with snippets of the journey, good, bad and not so pretty. I’m so glad you’re here for the next leg of the ride.

Leave it to 12th C. mystic Rumi to give us the skinny on anger. Nothing has changed since then. His words are as valid as ever.  Embers of annoyance if not anger poke and prod at me.  August 30th is our sixth blog anniversary and I’d hoped to add at least a chunk of our lost archives. It’s not a simple cut and paste. The images won’t transfer nor any comments. I’ve resorted to doing a screenshot of an image, uploading and then cut and paste the text. Then mortification set in. Oh, the early post are an editor’s nightmare. Everything that could possibly be wrong and hideous, is.

The good news? It appears over six years I’ve improved my writing, editing and photographic skills. I’ve also learned how to do SEO and other techie things. So, all old posts will be given a quick spit and polish before posting under their original published dates. That means one by one. Manually. The category will be titled: Archives Redux. I figure I can do one for every new post and I’ll incinerate any really crappy posts.

The really weird news? I’m kind of enjoying the process. It could be a new form analysis and cheaper than a shrink.

  1. So true,
Glad you’re back, even though you were never really gone, so to speak.
Quite a job ahead, you have a very positive outlook on it though. I am inspired, so
    Thank you.

  2. It’s so nice to see you! I should definitely go back into the archives and spruce things up. It’s a great idea, but I am not sure I have the courage. Oops, I just flashed back to my friend Scarlet O’Hara, and I like her idea, too. “I’ll think about it tomorrow.”

    1. Ditto! Archive digging is not for the feint of heart ;-0

  3. I love the idea that it might be a new healing experience for you. Makes me want to spend some quality time going over my own blogs.

    1. I highly recommend it. I guarantee you it will spark creativity and insights. Let me know what you discover.
